The European Conference has lived up to expectations

The EFPA Italia European Conference 2010 has closed up on Saturday, November 13 on time, after the final greetings of the President, that took the stage for the Conference closing, following the final Round Table.

“Our teaching is of the road and the travelling; the seeing must be the very act of one that has made this choice” is the sentence of the Greek philosopher Plotinus that Mr. Boido has dedicated to the participants after the two days event held in Rome.

The organizing committee expresses its true satisfaction: "We hit all the targets we set, concerning the respect of the times fixed schedule, the availability of excellent educational contents, the number of appearances of both sponsors and participants, and their high level of satisfaction "

"It was a really exciting educational experience from the professional point of view as well as from the personal one" , wrote a participant, while another: "I will go home with more preparation and above all with more motivation for my job, after these dark and difficult years spent by the investors side “

Jean Paul Servais, as member of the CESR (Committee of European Securities Regulators) and Giuseppe D'Agostino, for CONSOB, with their participation gave a very important sign of the attention from part of the Regulators about what €fpa does, as far as skills and ethics improvement are concerned.

Both the Roundtables, one of them regarding the financial advisory activity and the other regarding the certification at European level in relation to MiFID, moderated by the financial journalists Sara Silano and Marco Liera, were very stimulating.

To the technical seminars regarding Financial Planning as a Client relations management tool - edited by Sergio Sorgi - and Risk tolerance in investment decision making - conducted by Caterina Lucarelli and Gianni Brighetti - the audience reserved a lot of appreciations and applauses.

The Main Partners have very well managed and prepared the short Workshop sessions - varying from general to technical issues - arranged for them for this occasion, under the supervision of the €fpa Italia Scientific Committee.

The Think Tank have been totally overbooked: the formula, thanks to the introduction of the preparatory phase managed by the Scientific Committee, has been confirmed as successful and these sessions enjoyed great appreciation from the protagonists.

Finally, enthusiastic praise came also from abroad, by the speakers, by the members of the Efpa European Board and by the foreign Certified Professionals for attending an event that has kept its promise to be ranked among the greatest - as far as structure and content are concerned - at a continental level
